Families give us 5-stars! We have a pack ‘n play crib with a memory foam mattress, 2 booster high chairs, a baby bathtub, baby gate, toys, books, kitchenware, and outlet covers for the littles. Do note, there’s: •1 step in a few rooms •cacti on sunroom tables and outdoors•some lower-reach fragile decor you could put away during your stay •electric fireplace for ambience that can get hot when operating • a child ladder guard you can use on the above-ground pool during swim season, and a clip-shut hot tub cover
10 miles! On a typical day, the drive to the West entrance is just 15 minutes. During peak times, enter the park during off-peak hours or try the east entrance in Twentynine Palms.
The private, above-ground pool is open Mid-March through October. It’s 18 x 9 feet and 4 feet deep. Heating is available for an additional daily fee if requested in advance, please inquire. The private 6-person hot tub is always open, heat is included.

Our cozy indoor fireplace is the convenient, clean-burning electric kind, but you can make real wood fires outdoors in the outdoor fire pit. Please BYO firewood and s’mores ingredients, and charcoal for the BBQ!
•All types of creatures roam the Mojave Desert, from bunnies, lizards, roadrunners, quail, and hummingbirds, to snakes, scorpions, desert rats, owls, spiders, bobcats, and coyotes. Keep a watchful eye and respectful distance.
•This is not a place to let little ones and dogs roam without you, especially between dusk and dawn.

If you’re used to the city, this might feel like another planet… give yourself time to adjust to and embrace this very different environment. VINTAGE VIBESWe cherish all things vintage, so we preserved many favorite features during the recent restoration, along with some fabulous new upgrades. We hope you’ll love it too, and ask guests to treat things with care. This also means doors may stick, drawers could be wonky and the midcentury Formica has a few scars. We find these small imperfections charming to be signs of a well-lived home, just another beautiful part of this 1950s time capsule.
